Description:

This internship is part of the Summer 2025 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.

Description:

The Social Work Intern will assist Brad Simpson, the Social Work Program Director, with administrative tasks, student and faculty outreach, program management, and accreditation support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the program director with administrative tasks, including creating flyers, surveys, and certificates
  • Sending emails and managing student communication
  • Assisting with faculty coordination and accreditation-related processes
  • Helping organize and promote program events
  • Identify and propose solutions to challenges that arise during the internship

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled as an SUU student during the internship
  • Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a desire to help others
  • Basic knowledge of Google Drive, Docs, and Slides
  • Preference given to Social Work majors
